Data We Collect

When you browse without an account

• Cookies used for session management and analytics consent tracking
• Anonymous click events when you navigate to a store via our affiliate links (no PII)

When you create an account

• Email address (for authentication and price alert notifications)
• Password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never store plain text)
• Wishlist entries and price alert preferences
• Click history linked to your user ID

How We Use Your Data

• To operate the service (price alerts, wishlist, authentication)
• To verify affiliate commissions with stores
• To improve price comparison accuracy

Data Retention

Account data is retained until you delete your account. Anonymous click events are retained for 12 months. You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@cdkeycheck.com.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@cdkeycheck.com.
